Ecotrophelia France, the food innovation competition for students

The Ecotrophelia France competition was based in Brittany for the 2023 finals. Coordinated by l’Institut Agro, this 24th edition was held at the Jacobins Convent in Rennes from 28 to 30 June 2023.
Designed for students, this national food innovation competition involved 19 student teams presenting projects they had developed over the preceding few months, competing against each other to gain the recognition of the judges.

The aim of this project is to present not only marketable products, but also ecological products which promote food enhancement using an approach focusing on quality. 

Ecotrophelia France 2023 was also a major success for l’Institut Agro:

  1. The GOLD ECOTROPHELIA award went to “Pom Peel'Up” from l’Institut Agro Rennes-Angers
  2. The SILVER ECOTROPHELIA award went to the “Défribrés” of l'Institut Agro Montpellier
  3. THE INTERBEV MEAT INNOVATION PRIZE was awarded to Quartier n°5 from L’Institut Rennes-Angers
  4. THE ENTREPRENEURSHIP PRIZE was awarded to Fitavore from l’Institut Agro Montpellier.

A great success for l’Institut Agro in 2023!

In 2024, Ecotrophelia France will be back in Brittany to support and promote new innovations focusing on quality.
